Richard Hoare taught English at Coundon Court in Coventry for over 30 years. Since his retirement, he has written “Northbrook”, a novel about ghostly events at Coundon Court in 1907, and this, his latest publication, “Singer's Legacy: His Family and his Home”.  He continues as President of Coundon Court Old Boys' FC, which he founded in 1981, playing initially on Singer land.  He lives in the historic town of Kenilworth with his wife, Jackie and West Highland Terrier, Humphrey.  He has two talented daughters and four wonderful grandchildren.
